Ready For Visa
We were told that the processing time for a final decision after filing was about 6 months. We filed mid-July and got our response at the beginning of August! To say we were shocked at how quick it was processed is an understatement!
The "ready for visa" email was sent directly to our lawyer who then forwarded it to us and advised on our next moves.
You have 30 days to send some final information to the government, such as any changes in circumstances, more photos, a completed application form and another scan of your passport. In return you will receive your Confirmation of Permanent Residence and you'll be pretty much ready land!
As I type this, we have just sent off this information and are awaiting our confirmation. We have until May 2018 to land (when our medical expires).
